Have you ever wondered who are the top Indonesian Twitter Users based on the number of their followers?
Twittercounter provides you with this information (Jakarta-based Twitter users); placing singer  Sherina Munaf on the 1st rank, surpassing model-actress  Luna Maya (2nd). The list then goes down to Sherina’s boyfriend, writer  Raditya Dika (3rd), with singer  Vidi Aldiano came on 4th place, and singer-actress  Bunga Citra Lestari on the 5th place.

It’s a bit surprising for some people to see Sherina being on top of the list–with an additional of 40,000 followers compared to Luna Maya. However, we might need to put into account that Sherina has blogged and tweeted earlier than Luna Maya. Moreover, she was also perceived as one of the first celebrities who grasp the idea of blogs and twitter; as praised by well-known blogger NdoroKakung–when he found out about Sherina’s blog (Gemini Pride/Futagoza) on September 2008. (Well, actually, actress Dian Sastro has started her own blog back in January 2008. But her blog didn’t get that much of a buy in from NdoroKakung)
Sherina’s relationship with Raditya Dika–who has also been very famous in the blogosphere and social media through his (previous) blog KambingJantan might have also given some sort of contribution to Sherina’s Twitter popularity.
